About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Generalist to join our team at Koffeecup. As a 3D Generalist, you will be responsible for developing high-quality 3D assets, optimizing 3D models, and assessing existing tools to design custom ones to support art pipelines and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the core team to develop the overall vision and determine technical feasibility.
  • Identify and analyze risks, resolve complex issues, and approve technical specifications.
  • Develop high-quality 3D assets for games and applications.
  • Optimize 3D models for runtime applications.
  • Assess existing tools and design custom ones to support art pipelines and workflows.
  • Represent the art team in technical discussions and requirements meetings.
  • Write documentation, tutorials, and training videos, and provide training to the Art, Design, and Engineering departments.
  • Texture 3D assets for pre-rendered or runtime applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Technical discipline, or other relevant training.
  • 3+ years of experience as a 3D Generalist in the video game industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity, Maya, Photoshop, Substance Designer, and version control software such as Perforce or Git.
  • Advanced understanding of creative and game development processes.
  • Open-minded team player attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation.
  • Passion for playing and making video games.
