Sustainability Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Controller to join our team at Sonova Warsaw Service Center Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw, Poland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Sustainability Reporting Framework to ensure timely and accurate reporting of ESG data.
  • Collaborate with the ESG team and subject matter experts to collect, validate, and report ESG data.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and maintenance of tools for ESG data collection, processing, aggregation, and reporting.
  • Prepare internal and external ESG reports, including the ESG reporting in the Annual Report.
  • Ensure strong controls and an assurance culture by driving change to embed internal controls throughout ESG.
  • Drive Continuous Improvements and regularly review and improve the efficiency and accuracy of ESG reporting processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with external regulations and collaborate with the ESG team to develop and adjust data sets, tools, and processes accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Strong finance background with 5 years of experience in reporting, controlling, finance, and audit.
  • Ability to work with unstructured data and connect different domains.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong collaborator, and authentic interest in sustainability and transparency.
  • Strong IT affinity and experience with reporting and/or consolidation tools.
  • Ability to lead a process in a cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the area of sustainability reporting.
  • Proficient in English.
  • 1-2 years of work exposure to corporate sustainability/ESG related topics, data, and reporting.
