We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-end Engineering Lead to join our team at EPAM Systems.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the development of cutting-edge web applications and ensure seamless user experiences by leveraging expertise in front-end technologies.

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for leading the development and architecture of front-end solutions using modern frameworks and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize high-performance solutions that meet our business objectives.

  • Leverage your deep expertise in front-end technologies to drive innovation and stay updated with emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to create seamless and responsive web applications.
  • Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in their technical growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • Strong knowledge of JS Core and expertise in ES6.
  • Proficiency in React.js and Angular 6+ frameworks, and TypeScript.
  • Expert-level knowledge of HTML5 and CSS/LESS/SASS.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and understanding of BfF approach.
  • Experience in front-end unit and integration testing (e.g., Jest/Karma/Mocha/Cypress).
  • Experience with front-end development tools and technologies (e.g., Responsive Web design, NPM, Git, REST).
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in an Agile work environment.
  • Able to work under pressure.
