Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer

Capgemini Polska is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale data platforms on Azure.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate AI models into business applications.
- Manage, optimize, and streamline data/AI workflows using AI orchestrators like LangChain.
- Implement Azure Cognitive Services for natural language processing and other AI functionalities.
- Design and manage efficient database schemas to meet application data requirements.
- Perform database tuning and query optimization to ensure high performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document data workflows, processes, and architectures.
- Ensure that all data solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data encryption and access controls.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and managing ETL pipelines in environments that utilize Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Azure Synapse.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps environment and services, including Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Dedicated Pool, and container distribution using Argo CD.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Proficiency in using Jenkins and Nexus for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in optimizing database performance and managing distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services and other AI/ML frameworks in cloud-based architectures.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including container management, automated testing, and deployment processes.
