The PMO and Control Hub team in Global Finance Center Krakow plays a vital role in the overall success of the GFC Poland department and the GAO organization. The team helps to strengthen the control environment, manage risk, and respond to various challenges. They lead projects and programs connected with finance, such as new project implementation and coordination of global programs, controls, and initiatives across functions and departments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a group of finance professionals in project management, program coordination, and control implementation.
  • Coordinate and communicate finance programs applicable to GAO/GFC across the organization.
  • Participate in GMAS Development Group meetings and trainings to improve processes in the department.
  • Support Business Unit Head and Senior Management in project and initiative implementation.
  • Support audit issue closure and reporting.
  • Share best practices to implement a strong and robust control environment in GAO.
  • Mitigate risk based on day-to-day activities within GAO.
  • Provide additional support to functional leads as required.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, controls, and project management.
  • Senior management reporting and cooperation experience.
  • Demonstrated people management, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with stakeholders in a multi-locational environment.
  • Ability to adhere to multiple deadlines, with good time management and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Innovative and structured approach to work, coupled with the ability to continuously identify and implement process improvements.
  • Willingness to take ownership of problems and ability to communicate effectively.
