Senior Backend Developer - Java

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Java Developer to join our international team at 300Brains Sp. z o. o.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in developing backend solutions using Java, with expertise in JEE, SQL, AWS, and Spring Boot.

A strong understanding of Agile methodology, teamwork, and proactive approach is essential. The ability to communicate effectively and sense of humor are also highly valued.

In addition to the technical skills mentioned above, we are looking for someone who can work well in a small company environment, understand business requirements, and have great communication skills. English language proficiency is a must.

Bonus skills include:

  • Proficiency with GCP and Heroku
  • TypeScript and React.js experience
  • Knowledge of Python, .NET or Go

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing backend solutions using Java for servers and APIs that drive our mobile and web applications, as well as data infrastructure.

You will also work on various aspects of the platform, including mobile clients and web dashboards, to ensure a seamless integration of services.

Collaboration with developers, analysts, and DevOps teams is crucial. You will participate in code reviews, engage in team discussions, and automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.

Database management, problem-solving, code quality, and cooperation with remote USA team are key aspects of this position.
