About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to collaborate with our cross-functional teams at Acoustic. This position involves delivering quality solutions, working with agile methodologies, and possessing strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software and IT solutions following our software development process and best practices.
  • Review feature descriptions to understand functionality and work with project managers to clarify requirements.
  • Manage time effectively by breaking down features into tasks and estimating time.
  • Collaborate with the team to review designs, develop features according to task plans, and write unit tests for new features.
  • Test code locally, review code quality, fix bugs, and address customer and production support issues.
  • Communicate with developers, QAs, and product managers from Acoustic globally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, covering requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and building scalable web applications and APIs.
  • Strong expertise in object-oriented design and Microsoft technologies like .Net Core, .Net Standard, .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Core MVC, and Azure SQL Server.
  • Experience with Git workflows and pull requests, with CICD experience being a plus.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and managing database objects.
  • Experience in Cloud development using Docker and Microservices.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimizing memory usage in C# and ASP.Net.
  • Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and other programmatic interfaces.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
