Job Description
As a Software Engineer for Distributed Systems at Arche Consulting Sp Z O.o., you will design and develop complex distributed computing systems for clients. Your responsibilities will include exploring new technologies, creating proofs of concept, producing integration and technical design documentation, handling development, configuration, and unit testing of complex areas, addressing defects during testing, and supporting performance testing efforts. You will work closely with business teams to clarify requirements and understand application use cases and business processes, guide junior developers, provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform environment tuning. Additionally, you will ensure technical best practices are followed throughout the project and conduct code reviews to maintain standards and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess an excellent understanding and experience in Java, Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, Docker, and Open Shift. You should also have experience working with the Angular framework and Typescript, as well as proficiency in Node. JS, NPM, Java Script, Java Script frameworks, CSS, j Query, Bootstrap, XML, and JSON. You should be skilled in relational database technologies, specifically with significant experience in ORM tools like Hibernate, and adept in PL/SQL and Oracle for building SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling. Familiarity with application containers such as Apache Tomcat and emphasis on quality development through unit testing, Continuous Integration, refactoring, and clean code practices is essential. Additionally, you should have experience with cloud and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes/Open Shift, and be capable of designing large-scale, enterprise-wide implementations. Proficiency with tools such as GIT, SVN, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle, and comfort working within Scrum/Agile methodologies are also required.
