As a General Ledger Accountant at Arrow Electronics, Inc., you will be responsible for managing the accuracy of General Ledger for assigned companies and ensuring timely completion of month-end financial close procedures. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and managing necessary internal reporting, facilitating restructuring accounting, and carrying out relevant Sarbanes Oxley controls.


The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in all-round accounting, with a solid understanding of general accounting and reporting processes. Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation skills, as well as fluent English language skills, are also essential. Good command of French is a plus. Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage the accuracy of General Ledger for assigned Arrow companies.
  • Complete month-end financial close procedures, including necessary accruals and prepayments activities.
  • Prepare and manage necessary internal reporting.
  • Facilitate restructuring accounting and control.
  • Carry out relevant Sarbanes Oxley controls.
  • Headcount reporting, control, and forecasting support.
  • Statutory accounting and corporation tax work.
  • Statutory/Corporate reconciliations and European consolidation.
  • Control and prepare VAT, Intrastat, and Sales List Reporting.

Requirements:



  • 5+ years of experience in all-round accounting.
  • Solid understanding of general accounting and reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation skills.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Good command of French is a plus.
