Smith+Nephew is hiring a Regional Supply Chain Manager to oversee the Local Distribution Centers' (LDCs) ordering process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the LDCs' ordering process from the GDC, using our ERP, Rapid Response's Distribution plan, and its own criteria to enter orders in ERP.
  • Monitor and rebalance inventory across the region & set LDCs' safety stocks in line with the policy.
  • Request changes to priorities and allocations, according to customer needs and in alignment with the marketing strategy when supply is limited.
  • Oversee all aspects of inventory (Safety Stock based on Demand and Supply inputs, management of scrap & returns).
  • Be the voice for the country organization within EMEA Supply Chain and central point of contact for market specific supply concerns.
  • Be involved in additional activities/projects according to departments roadmap.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Service-oriented personality with project lead experience.
  • Excellent English skills, any other European language is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferable).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel, Access).
  • Experience in the medical device industry would be an advantage.
