Job Description: Digital Product Experience Designer

We're seeking an experienced Digital Product Experience Designer to join our team at NordPass. As a key member of our Product Design department, you'll play a vital role in shaping the user experience for our intuitive password manager.

Your primary responsibility will be to design solutions that balance technical considerations with human-centered approaches. You'll work closely with our Trio (Product Manager, Engineering manager, and you) to follow our proprietary Product Development Framework, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Own and refine the user experience for your respective part of the NordPass product, aligning it with our company's vision and values.
  2. Foster close relationships with UX Researchers and UX Writers, utilizing their expertise to inform and enhance your design decisions.
  3. Participate actively in all stages of the product development workflow, including framing and validating problems, defining functional requirements, creating user flows, providing user-centric insights, and designing solutions to support our customers.
  4. Independently narrow down broad scopes, transforming abstract ideas into low-fidelity artifacts and interactive prototypes.
  5. Continuously iterate on design solutions based on user testing, business requirements, and technical considerations.
  6. Contribute to regular rituals and our feedback culture by sharing your design work early and often with peers and stakeholders, proactively seeking feedback to improve your craft.
Core Requirements:
  1. You have 3+ years of experience designing (B2C or B2B) digital products that are currently live to users, demonstrating a deep understanding of what works and what doesn't.
  2. You have a genuine interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, or cryptography, recognizing the importance of these fields in today's digital landscape.
  3. Evidence of shipping cross-platform products (Desktop/iOS/Android), showcasing your ability to adapt to various platforms and technologies.
  4. You have mastered the fundamentals of typography, color, and visual hierarchy, as well as UX principles and information architecture.
  5. The ability to present and articulate your design decisions and rationale to peers and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex ideas.
  6. Experience collaborating closely with engineers in the past, ensuring seamless design-to-development handoffs and a smooth user experience.
  7. You can speak English effectively, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  8. A portfolio showcasing your work, highlighting your end-to-end design process and the outcomes achieved, is essential for this role.
