**Job Title:** Senior Full-stack Developer

Remitly Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled full-stack developer to join our Referrals team in Poland. As a senior full-stack developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs, web and mobile apps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and addressing technical debt of the existing referrals platform.

**Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, web and mobile apps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to empower high-impact referrals campaigns
- Address technical debt of the existing referrals platform, focusing on refactoring and optimizing legacy code to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability
- Optimize platform performance for high availability and low-latency, ensuring reliability to support global customer bases
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, deploying updates and bug fixes to ensure seamless functionality and continuous improvement
- Support the referral team through a rotating on-call schedule
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
- Strong understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), hydration, and web frameworks like React or Next.js
- Good knowledge of backend programming languages such as Java or Golang
- Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, bonus points for experience managing big data
- Proven experience and understanding of software development practices, system design, software design patterns, and algorithms
