About the Role:

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement serialization systems (PIMMS) for manufacturing sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Create efficient operating and technical standards to drive excellence in our operations.
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring availability, addressing vulnerabilities, and managing access controls.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members, including managers and manufacturing engineers, to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Maintain high levels of system and infrastructure availability through proactive issue resolution and optimization.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identifying solutions and collaborating with vendors for implementation.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to ensure data protection and system reliability.
  • Author and maintain product lifecycle documentation, procedures, and knowledge-based articles.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support, troubleshooting and fixing application and technical issues, and related activities such as RCA.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution, collaborating with external partners and internal teams.

Why You?

We're looking for professionals with 5+ years' experience supporting manufacturing systems or working in a manufacturing environment. A background or qualification in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis is essential. Strong expertise in ITIL or similar processes and practices is also required.

Broad expertise in infrastructure components, such as networks, OS, AD, firewalls, and solution design, is necessary for this role. Experience working with serialization systems or manufacturing execution systems is a plus, as is basic project management experience, scripting, and SQL skills.
