Role Overview

This is a critical role that will drive the technology evolution of Vonage. As a Senior Architect, you will lead cross-functional architecture, ensuring it supports our mission to deliver innovative and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-Vonage architecture, ensuring it supports our mission to deliver innovative and compliant solutions and drive the technology evolution.
  • Identify the need, drive, and participate in architecture evolution studies.
  • Drive the evolution of the architecture together with the architecture community.
  • When applicable, participate in architecture governance bodies across the Vonage organization and contribute to a sound and aligned architecture.
  • Engage in Technology Strategy work.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience in a comparable strategic Architecture role where you have had company-wide/product impact.
  • Communication skills, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical expertise across (not all):
    • Telecommunications and CPaaS
    • Cloud deployments, preferably public cloud and aaS deliveries
    • Implementation architecture
    • Modern development methods like DevSecOps etc.
    • Security and compliance
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead and motivate in an individual contributor role.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
