The Educational Equality Institute is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Polish language teacher to join our team in Norway. As a language teacher, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the language skills of our students through our free educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to teach basic language skills to students.
  • Conduct online or in-person language classes for students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
  • Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to develop effective teaching strategies and materials.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning goals.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops provided by TEEI to enhance your teaching skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners, with a strong background in Polish language and culture.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, with a strong commitment to student-centered learning.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Passion for helping underprivileged communities through education, with a strong commitment to social justice and equality.
  • Fluent in Polish, with a good level of spoken and written English.
  • Having a language teaching certificate is highly valued, but not required.
