About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at HSBC Service Delivery. As a key member of our global Azure Cloud Services team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing highly resilient, scalable, and secure Azure infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code methods (e.g. Terraform)
- Build and manage HSBC Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments
- Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g. IAM, networking, monitoring, Operating systems, Containers)
- Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security and Operational risk standards
- Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and continuous testing activities
- Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights
Requirements:
- Demonstrable Azure experience - infrastructure build and configurations of a variety of services including Compute, Storage, SDN
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipeline on multiple technology stacks
- Experience working with highly available/high-load web infrastructure e.g. web proxies, reverse proxies
- Technical knowledge and breadth of Azure technology services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning)
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, ability to quickly acquire new skills
- Demonstrable risk management knowledge
- Keen problem-solving skills (Analytical and Creative)
- Experience working within an Agile team environment
