Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and managing the OpenText Document Management system, providing technical support, implementing solutions, and ensuring security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Configure, update, and perform performance tuning on the OpenText Document Management system.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert support for OpenText Document Management users, addressing issues, resolving problems, and offering solutions.
  • Implementation: Oversee the deployment and integration of OpenText Document Management solutions within the organization.
  • Customization and Optimization: Customize and optimize OpenText Document Management features to meet specific business requirements and improve user experience.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that the document management system complies with industry standards and regulations, including data protection and security.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring: Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary updates and patches to maintain system integrity.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments to understand document management needs, provide solutions, and support business processes.
  • Project Participation: Participate in technology projects related to document management, including upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven work experience in OpenText Document Management systems and knowledge or work experience in SAP is an added advantage.
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of OpenText Document Management functionalities, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of document management best practices and industry standards. Experience with system integration and customization. Proficiency in database management and system security practices.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Certifications (optional but preferred): OpenText certifications or related credentials in document management systems. Experience with working in an Agile environment. Problem-solving and root cause identification skills. Experience working in teams and identifying and understanding multiple stakeholder perspectives.
