Holisticon Connect, a division of NEXER GROUP, is a leading custom software development company with a presence in Poland and offices in Wrocław, Warsaw, and Cracow. The company has a strong focus on growth through competence rather than numbers, and we're excited to find a talented Data Engineer to join our team working with a renowned global fashion company based in Sweden. This position is based in Poland and is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, who is passionate about developing and optimising data products within the Data Mesh framework.

The successful individual will be an integral part of the AI, Analytics & Data department, driving the organisation's data-driven innovation. The role requires a strong technical background, with a focus on building, optimising, and supporting existing and new data products in line with the target vision. Additionally, the candidate will champion a DevOps mindset, managing CI/CD pipelines and Terraform, while maintaining cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will ensure data products are self-contained deployment units that meet standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance.

The Data Engineer will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to shape the vision for data products and explore new data solutions to meet customer needs. They will also collaborate with product teams inside and outside the domain on issues related to the Data Mesh concept. Furthermore, the successful candidate will drive continuous improvement efforts, reduce technical debt, and maintain expertise in the latest data, analytics, and cloud technologies.

Key skills and qualifications include 4+ years' experience as a Data Engineer in modern cloud data platforms, profound knowledge of GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Composer etc.), working knowledge of SQL and Python, hands-on experience with DBT and Terraform, and knowledge of GitHub, DevOps principles, and CI/CD practices. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a collaborative, co-creative mindset, experience of working with Agile methodologies, fluency in English (C1) to work effectively in an international team, and location in Poland to facilitate collaboration and attendance at occasional team meetings.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary, ranging from 15,400 PLN to 18,500 PLN gross per month, or 130-155 PLN net per hour for B2B employment.
