- Manage a team of approximately 25 ML Data Associates to execute plans for tasks related to multiple ML workflows in a well-defined process area.
- Ensure ML data workflows are quality compliant by analyzing metrics, highlighting trends, and providing status reports.
- Identify risks and ensure escalations reach the right people while adhering to confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Responsible for SLAs and task completion targets for specific customers within provided capacity.
- Work with internal/external teams to execute business goals using knowledge and expertise.
- Manage escalation/complex tickets; analyze data; highlight trends; gaps, etc.; and report key metrics.
- Present data in business meetings/reviews.
- Develop and implement process improvement projects that impact team level performance. Participate in new workflow roll out projects teams.
- Provide team guidance on work types and prioritization. Work primarily focuses on straightforward, well-defined objectives, but may take on ad hoc and ill-defined requests.
- Coach direct reports on demonstrating leadership principles in their role.
- Devises and implements performance improvement plans for associates. Provides regular coaching and feedback to direct reports with regard to quality, performance, behavior, and career development.
- Hold team members accountable for performance based on metrics and adherence to rules and guidelines.
