Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Software Developer to join our agile team of experts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing modern microservices applications using Java, Kafka, and databases such as MongoDB and Oracle.

You will work closely with our business customers to understand their needs and expectations, and collaborate with your team to define the next sprint, provide estimates, and create solution proposals for complex tasks.

Code reviews are an essential part of our development process, and we encourage our team members to help each other by providing advice, finding the best fit within the team, and offering insightful hints for growth.

Requirements
  • A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Java, Kafka, and databases in microservices backend architecture, as well as practical experience with agile development methods such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, and TDD.
  • Good working knowledge of container orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes or Openshift.
  • Experience with DevOps activities related to CI/CD and environment setup.
  • Knowledge of development best practices, security, continuous delivery, and testing.
  • Fluency in English is a must, as it is our everyday language.
  • Availability to work in a remote/hybrid mode, with regular office visits.
  • Nice to have: Experience in FinTech industry, particularly in payments processing.
