The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead our trade desk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring seamless execution of client orders, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The main objectives of this role include:

  • Ensuring continuity of the brokerage services supply chain
  • Achieving profitability of all brokerage products
  • Maintaining 24/7 desk high-touch coverage
  • Optimizing portfolios

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior roles within investment banks and/or brokerage businesses, with a strong background in process analysis and improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the operational management of the trading team
  • Closely collaborating with various departments, including Back Office, Front Office, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Sales teams
  • Overseeing trade recording and settlement processes, identifying issues, and recommending updates to user guides
  • Establishing regular processes for the trading team and managing ticket flow
  • Managing incident reporting and team development, including testing plans
  • Creating testing plans and ticketing flow management
  • Collaborating with the product/engineering team to improve our platform services and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with international and local laws, as well as internal manuals and policies
  • Daily monitoring and error management
  • Staying up-to-date on market trends, opportunities, risks, and new projects, with a passion for the cryptocurrency and digital asset industry
  • Building high-performance teams and overseeing succession planning
  • Managing shareholder and business stakeholder expectations
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and developing automated reporting/dashboards
  • Ensuring compliance of all activities and transactions
