Database Solutions Delivery Manager

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an internal team responsible for managing an external service provider handling DBA services. This includes:
  • Fostering a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and teamwork
  • Steering external IT service providers to deliver expected services with agreed SLAs
  • Regular KPI reporting
  • Ensuring adherence to global guidelines (based on MAHLE standards/ITIL) regarding operational IT service delivery

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • An academic background in Computer Science or similar studies
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT service delivery
  • Excellent knowledge of related business processes and infrastructure technology (Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Good knowledge of managing external IT service providers, project management, and service controlling
  • Very good English skills
