Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary:

This role provides comprehensive support in managing inventory control, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

The Supply Chain Specialist collaborates with subject matter experts on complex issues and plays a key role in maintaining efficient distribution processes, contributing to the seamless flow of raw materials, components, and subassemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory control systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with vendors to negotiate terms and ensure timely material availability.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve complex issues and improve distribution processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in distribution, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and distribution best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms for timely material availability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant inventory management systems and software.
