About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team at Vantive, a new company built on our legacy in acute therapies and home and in-center dialysis. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in building a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, implementing a transformative program that will streamline processes, enhance systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships, and enhance opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate transition and knowledge transfer of FP&A activities, establishing operating and checklists to streamline and centralize processes by driving continuous improvements and maximizing efficiencies.
  • Coordinate closely with plant finance teams to review projections, budgets, and historical results, loading budget and forecast adjustments into the system.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget/strategic plan preparation.
  • Support the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost centre owner, etc.
  • Partner with FP&A Regional, Local, and Corporate resources within manufacturing/supply chain organizations to understand, drive, and support decision making ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Perform strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess business performance and facilitate decision-making and business support.
  • Liaise with the FP&A Global Delivery Center (GDC) and other cross-functional leads to support the creation of budgets, forecasts, and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality/control requirements.
Requirements
  • Analyst with a demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 5+ years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting within Manufacturing.
  • Expert in technical and financial knowledge, including an understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as an understanding of the relevant business environment.
  • Person with excellent analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Specialist in financial modelling and experience in statistical modelling techniques is a plus.
  • Experience with VBA, JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos would be assets.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
