Data Analytics Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Expert to join our team at TransferGo. As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how money is sent worldwide by developing and maintaining data products, guiding data users, and optimizing data transformations.

The Role:

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new and supporting existing dbt models by following dimensional modeling best practices.
• Building data validation rules and data quality monitors for data quality assurance.
• Building and maintaining data products.
• Guiding data users on how data products should be used.
• Optimizing data transformations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implementing and maintaining data governance across the company.
• Communicating with product teams regarding data quality issues.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Excellent knowledge of DBT tool.
• Excellent SQL knowledge.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling techniques.
• Experience in performance tuning on analytics databases (like Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc). We are using Redshift.
• Familiarity with how data models are used in BI tools.

Nice to have:

• Maintaining data lake using AWS ecosystem (S3, Glue, EMR, LakeFormation, Lambda).
• Building real-time data processing pipelines.
