We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Zoetis.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the execution of General Accounting related activities, including monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, sub-ledger postings, reconciliations, and corporate submissions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and supporting General Ledger (GL) journal entries postings, GL and cash account review, maintenance and analysis, GL master data change requests, reconciliations, foreign exchange adjustments and corporate required accounting.
  • Supporting the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements.
  • Providing periodic internal and external reports and supporting ad hoc data requests from management or markets.
  • Working closely with markets and local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues and queries for related accounting issues in a timely manner by escalating to the Lead Associate as required.
  • Ensuring a robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting or related.
  • 1-2+ years' experience in general accounting positions.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access).
  • Hands on experience with SAP system is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English language.
