Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has experience with large global projects and wireless network deployments.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide operations tier 2 support: identify, triage and resolve wireless issues.
  • Lead planning for lifecycle maintenance including system upgrades, performance monitoring etc.
  • Partner with Project Management to lead strategic global technical planning: wifi 6 deployments, product upgrades, mergers & acquisition integrations and real estate projects.
  • Openness to growing overall wireless technical competency via technical training, vendor interactions and conferences to understand the marketplace.
  • Seek, collaborate and drive solutions that improve performance, operations and customer experience.
  • Develop wireless system performance senior level communications.
  • Lead incident rca's and change ticket analysis identifying trends and kpi outliers.

Basic Requirements

We require a candidate with at least 3 years of experience as an enterprise Network Engineer, with experience in large global projects. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience with WLAN deployments and support, and an academic background in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols TCP/IP and WLAN standards 802.11. They should also be able to use enterprise tools, device and support radio frequency (RF) link performance, reliability, and quality and support WLAN RF plan and site survey tools (Ekahau a plus). A WIFI Skill level - CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional) and Extreme and Cisco Network - advantage would be beneficial. LAN and WAN experience - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred. The candidate should also have experience with senior level reporting, ability to learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources, self-starting ability to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment, good analytical and problem-solving skills, and skilled communication and collaboration skills, dependable and flexible when necessary.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and performance. In addition to the salary, we provide private medical coverage, multisport, life insurance (two annual income), employee stock purchase plan – 15% discount for buying Motorola's Stock units, employee pension plan – 3.5% of the month's gross salary, which goes to the retirement account, IP Tax Relief (up to 50%), yearly salary increase (depends on individual performance), yearly bonus (depends on company performance), flexible working hours (usually day starts between 7-10), 8 hours working day (30 minutes lunch break included), and hybrid/remote work options.
