Job Title: Wireless Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Test Engineer to join our team at ThunderSoft Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for testing and optimizing the latest wireless technologies, including 5G, LTE, and legacy networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of wireless network technologies, including 5G SA, 5G NSA, LTE, UMTS/WCDMA, and GSM.
  • Utilize industry-standard testing tools and platforms, such as QXDM, QCAT, PCAT (Qualcomm), and ELT (MTK), to ensure device and network compliance.
  • Conduct a wide range of tests, including VoNR, VoLTE, VoWIFI, ViLTE, SRVCC, OOS, handover/reselection/redirection tests, and dynamic tests.
  • Lead testing initiatives for Android Auto, eSIM, and MVNO across various devices.
  • Document test results, identify issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards and emerging technologies to ensure testing procedures are aligned with best practices.
  • Be available for business travel to support testing and deployment efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in wireless network testing, with a focus on 5G and LTE technologies.
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm and MediaTek testing tools (QXDM, QCAT, PCAT, ELT).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel for business as required.
