At Westinghouse Electric Company LLC., we are seeking a skilled Network Services Specialist to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager of Network Services to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our network environments.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with vendors and project management to implement and disconnect network circuits.
  • Manage invoice approvals and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist in writing and auditing Network Process and Control documentation.
  • Support the team in completing Westinghouse Self Assessment Testing for Network compliance.
  • Contribute to the successful completion of projects, tasks, and initiatives by embracing a team-first approach.
  • Manage small enhancement projects.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effectively communicate information and ideas both verbally and in writing.
  • Support the Principal Analyst or Network Services Manager in day-to-day activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field.
  • Understanding of network switching, routing, and wireless concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Experience in managing small projects and hands-on support and troubleshooting of networks.
  • Proficiency in preferred systems, including Cisco routers and switches, Arista switches, and Cloud Vision Portal.
