ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team in Warsaw. As a core member of our back-office staff, you will provide financial support for our consulting staff, internal departments, and external subjects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and verify local incoming invoices to ensure accurate coding and allocation to the appropriate general ledger account.
  • Manage and approve expense reports in accordance with our travel policy.
  • Set up new vendors and maintain vendor files, ensuring compliance with local procedures.
  • Ensure all required supporting documentation is maintained and up-to-date.
  • Allocate costs in line with local procedures and prepare monthly reconciliations for AP, advanced payments, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage cash reimbursements and banking administration.
  • Assist with month-end closing and year-end audit procedures.
  • Coordinate AMEX card handling and ensure timely processing.
REQUIREMENTS
  • University degree in finance and accounting, preferably.
  • Experience in a similar position from a professional service environment.
  • Excellent Polish language skills (verbal and written).
  • Good English language skills (verbal and written) - minimum intermediate level.
  • Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confirmed knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
