Procurement Strategist Capex/MRO

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic sourcing plans to drive cost savings and efficiency;
  • Forge partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation and reduce costs;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of projects;
  • Mentor internal customers on the application of contracted programs;
  • Manage medium to complex projects as assigned;
  • Implement standardized sourcing processes and create regional/global supply agreements;
  • Support multiple facilities within the region with ongoing CapEx project purchases;
  • Evaluate and implement comprehensive procurement programs with integrated suppliers.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at TN Poland as a Category Manager. If you have a strong background in procurement and a passion for driving business results, we would love to hear from you.

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is required;
  • Similar sourcing experience of a minimum of 7 years with centralized sourcing of technical goods is desired;
  • Project Management experience preferably in a multi-plant or international environment;
  • A proven background in RFI / RFP procedures for capital equipment sourcing and the MRO field;
  • An understanding of capital equipment projects and ability to support initiatives with cost analysis;
  • Strong negotiation skills, a hands-on attitude, and self-motivation;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across various plants simultaneously;
  • Prior procurement experience in the food processing, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries is essential;
  • Fluency in English is required;
  • Knowledge of the French language will be considered as a plus;
  • Strong time management skills and ability to simultaneously address multiple projects.
