About the Role

As a Control Systems Programming Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in the transformation of the industrial sector. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial applications, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our customers' equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for industrial applications, including PLC programming and hardware configuration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with other industrial equipment.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including circuit diagrams, connection diagrams, and component descriptions.
  • Participate in commissioning and testing of control systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control systems, including remote commissioning and on-site support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve control system design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Automation, Instrumentation, Controls, or Electro-technical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of control theory and system description.
  • Experience with software development, including programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic and Function Block.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in English language, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
