Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Sales & Services strategy, making decisions on Route to Market (RtM) and executing indirect sales accordingly.
  • Plan, develop, direct, execute, and monitor indirect sales activities to achieve established sales targets.
  • Acquire new dealers and develop existing ones to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with services to create a strong customer experience.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Commercial Development:
    • Own, create, develop, and drive the development and execution of the market strategy with distributors, including the business plan and budget, in cooperation with the Sales and Marketing Director and in line with the overall strategy.
    • Ensure a consistent approach to the development and implementation of common processes, tools, policies, and procedures with distributors.
    • Plan and monitor the execution of equipment sales activities.
    • Cooperate with teams to achieve set targets, customer satisfaction, market share, volumes, and margins.
  • Dealer Network Development:
    • Develop the dealer network and provide appropriate advice to support the continued development of their business activities.
    • Lead and execute the sales process with distributors, including identifying, defining, and recommending distributors according to the markets.
    • Lead negotiations and the implementation of agreements with distributors.
    • Create strategies and business plans specific to distributors and analyze and monitor performance.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment:
    • Comply with HSE measures in place, prevention actions, training, and regulatory obligations.
    • Report accidents, incidents, dangerous situations, and risks.
    • Participate in risk assessments and investigations after accidents and incidents.
    • Participate in prevention actions, propose, and implement improvements.

Requirements

  • Suitable educational background in commercial, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or administrative subjects (Bachelor/academic level).
  • A solid track record of leading and managing sales workforce and driving sales growth.
  • At least 10 years of relevant business/product experience related to sales, preferably in the truck industry or load handling equipment.
  • Experience in growing and maintaining a dealer network.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage a team of sales representatives.

  • Strong business mindset with financial skills.
  • Fluent in English and the local language, with all communication with customers in the local language and communication with Division and corporate in English.
