About the Role

Aon Hewitt is seeking an experienced Security Project Director to lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. This role focuses on securing access to critical systems, ensuring compliance with security standards, and supporting business operations through effective identity lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management and Execution:
  2. Lead and oversee the comprehensive implementation of IAM projects, ensuring timely completion, scope alignment, and budget efficiency.
  3. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocation, budgeting, and reporting.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives with security requirements.
Identity and Access Management:
  1. Solution Design and Implementation:
  2. Oversee the design and implementation of IAM solutions that ensure secure and efficient access to systems, applications, and data across the organization.
  3. Evaluate and recommend IAM technologies to meet organizational needs.
Security and Compliance:
  1. Risk and Compliance Management:
  2. Ensure IAM processes and policies align with internal security principles and industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and other relevant standards.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  2. Act as the main point of contact for IAM project stakeholders, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience with a strong emphasis on security.
  • Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
