Job Description

Aon Hewitt is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Security Project Director. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, designing and implementing IAM solutions, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for IAM initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives with security requirements.
Identity and Access Management:
  1. Solution Design and Implementation:
  2. Oversee the design and implementation of IAM solutions that ensure secure and efficient access to systems, applications, and data across the organization.
  3. Evaluate and recommend IAM technologies to meet organizational needs.
Security and Compliance:
  1. Risk and Compliance Management:
  2. Ensure IAM processes and policies align with internal security principles and industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and other relevant standards.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  2. Act as the main point of contact for IAM project stakeholders, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience with a strong emphasis on security.
  • Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
