Job Description

We are expanding our engineering team and looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to help us build the future of LiveKid Infrastructure. You will join our growing engineering team of ~12 people, with plans to almost double over the next year.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
  • Building and maintaining an efficient CI/CD pipeline to help developers ship the software faster and safer in a structured environment.
  • Simplifying, modularizing, and codifying our infrastructure.
  • Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Active monitoring of infrastructure costs and cost optimization.
  • Being hands-on and collaborating with DevOps engineers.
  • Having a huge impact on the future of the LiveKid platform and product from day one.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience with cloud infrastructures (ideally GCP, alternatively AWS).
  • Solid knowledge of various CI/CD workflows. (e.g. CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience building IaC systems (e.g. terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with tools such as: Nginx, cloudflare, and DataDog.
  • Mature engineering mindset and ability to make informed trade-offs.
  • English professional working proficiency.
