At Selvita, we are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our team in Krakow, Poland. As a Senior Research Scientist, you will play a vital role in the development and validation of LC and/or GC analytical methods for release and/or characterization of various chemical entities and mixtures.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately 65000-70000 PLN per month, depending on your qualifications and experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global integrated drug discovery partner for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Development and validation of LC and/or GC analytical methods for release and/or characterization of various chemical entities and mixtures.
  • Validation and transfer of analytical methods together with raw data interpretation and documentation.
  • Development of analytical methods and/or performing analyses with the use of mass spectrometry techniques.
  • Responsibility for proper documentation of study results related to assigned projects.
  • Ability to effective communication with clients.
  • Supervising junior analytical specialists during project execution.
Requirements

You should have:

  • MSc / Ph.D. in life sciences: chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology or related fields.
  • Proficiency in liquid and/or gas chromatography techniques (HPLC, UHPLC, GC).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory work.
  • Experience in methods development and validation would be an asset.
  • Experience in working with MS / ICP-MS would be an asset.
  • High motivation with excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, as well as organization and time management skills, are essential.
  • Fluency in English.
