Job Title: Risk and Compliance Quantitative Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Quantitative Analyst to join our team at IG Group. As a Risk and Compliance Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced technologies and data insights to drive innovation, enhance risk management, and empower informed decision-making.

About the Role

This is a diverse, hands-on role in a newly created team focusing on utilizing advanced technologies and data insights to drive innovation, enhance risk management, and empower informed decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, IT, and business units, to develop and implement AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced risk management models and algorithms to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and draw meaningful conclusions that inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in risk management, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
