About the Role

We seek experienced Actuaries and professionals with expertise in the non-life insurance industry to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and deploying internal risk models for ERGO Group using Igloo modelling software.
  • Carrying out parameterization and validation of internal models for non-life entities in ERGO Group.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of natural catastrophe risks and integrating this knowledge into business departments.
  • Supporting the preparation of regular and ad-hoc risk reports.
  • Contributing to the actuarial claims reserving process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A university degree in natural sciences, economics, or a comparable education with a focus on mathematics.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in non-life insurance in one of the following fields: risk management, actuarial modeling, or reinsurance.
  • The willingness to understand, further develop, and use risk models.
  • Competence to provide professional guidance, excellent communication skills, and a strong team spirit.
  • An independent way of working and a high level of commitment and integrity.
  • A willingness to travel abroad (approximately 1-2 times per quarter, 2-3 days).
