Senior Backend Engineer at 7N

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at 7N. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge cloud-native microservices architecture applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JVM languages (Java/Scala/Kotlin), RESTful APIs, and web technologies. Experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is also highly desirable.

About the Role
  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable backend systems using Java/Scala/Kotlin and RESTful APIs.
  • Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions using AWS/GCP/Azure and microservices architecture.
  • Utilize dependency injection frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot) and ensure adherence to security standards.
  • Write and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, ensuring high-quality code and reliable delivery pipelines.
  • Implement monitoring and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTracing) and work with containerization tools.
  • Collaborate in an agile environment, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-facing environment.
  • Recent hands-on experience as a back-end engineer.
  • Experience with JVM languages (Java/Scala/Kotlin, preferably Java 8+).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies.
  • Understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience in all stages of software development lifecycle.
