We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience working with relational databases and data warehouses, stream-processing systems, programming and scripting languages, big data tools, and NoSQL data repositories. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, ensuring optimal data delivery architecture throughout ongoing projects. This includes creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture, assembling large, complete data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements, identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements, building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and big data technologies, and working with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and their data infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will also have experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets, as well as familiarity with workflow management tools such as NiFi and Airflow. * Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
* Familiarity with workflow management tools such as NiFi and Airflow
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
