Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Senior Team Leader to join our growing financial department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the AP team, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of AP processes in KION Business Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the AP team, driving performance in terms of effectiveness and efficiency, including process improvements.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with agreed policies and procedures by team members in the delivery of services across the KION Group.
  • Responsible for a team of around 60 people and the services they provide on a daily basis.
  • Support and develop teams in the Business Transformation project.
  • Monitor, interpret, and report team key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate, evaluate, and supervise the implementation of process improvements within the Accounts Payable area.
  • Resolve OpCo queries relating to AP processes as specified by relevant SLAs/KPIs.
  • Support internal/external audit requirements in respect of CoE AP processes.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience in the area of Finance and Accounting, especially Accounts Payable.
  • Approx. 4-5 years of people management experience.
  • Knowledge of standard business processes and software, e.g. SAP, Basware.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, readiness to lead discussions with Group Leadership Team.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Profound organizational skills and ability to set right priorities.
  • Strong social competences and open-minded approach.
  • Maintain a high degree of creditability, independence, integrity, confidentiality, and trust.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Graduated (Bachelor, Master or similar) in Business/Finance with focus on Accounting.
  • Knowledge of German Language.
