Accounts Payable Accountant

Helprise is a leading outsourcing and consultancy firm that offers top talent, know-how, and solutions for business process execution. We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team and contribute to building a unique ecosystem that adds value to our customers, partners, candidates, and employees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately executing various services related to the Accounts Payable function, including system administration, reconciliations, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and investigation on open items to prevent aging.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve open and/or aged items in Accounts Payable related accounts.
  • Prepare proper documentation for Accounts Payable related accounts.
  • Identify and present solutions for continuous process improvement, including root cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Analyze and run accounts payable related metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA, CMA).
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages (French, German, Italian, Dutch) is advantageous.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or Business Service Center (BSC).
  • Ability to solve problems and propose improvements.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Disciplined and well-organized, able to meet deadlines.
  • Ready to work in a dynamically developing organization.
