We're seeking a talented Database Performance Tuner to join our team at Sapiens Software Solutions Poland Sp. z o.o. In this key role, you'll be responsible for optimizing the performance of our Oracle databases and ensuring they meet the required service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tune SQL Queries and Server Configurations: Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance and query efficiency.
  • Monitor Database Health and Availability: Use tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or custom scripts to monitor database health and availability.
  • Implement Automated Scripts: Automate routine database tasks, such as health checks and performance reporting.
  • Provide On-Call Support: Offer on-call support for critical database environments as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
  • 8+ Years of Experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Oracle Database Versions
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Database Management Tools
  • Hands-On Experience with Oracle Container/Pluggable and Data Guard
  • Expertise in Backup and Recovery Using RMAN
  • Strong Understanding of Database Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
