The Role
As a Lease Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely execution of lease accounting in line with IFRS and JSOX standards. This involves:
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and JSOX requirements;
- Developing and maintaining effective internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements;
- Providing training and support to new team members on lease accounting processes and procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a multinational company (preferably in a Shared Service Centre multifunctional role such as AR/AP/CM/GL);
- Strong command of English (both oral and written);
- Proficient in SAP; and
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
