Job Title: Risk Manager – Regional Europe Africa Middle East

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Risk Manager to lead our regional EUAFME team for Global businesses within the Downstream Credit organization.

About the Role:

This pivotal role involves managing material Downstream credit risk portfolio and leading a community of 45+ FTEs to maximize business profitability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and oversee the execution of credit risk strategies for supported regional businesses, including definition of appropriate risk appetite.
  • Provide credit advice to assist businesses in complex, high-value, and high-risk situations and transformative journey towards sustainable energy and Net-Zero.
  • Align with business on credit strategies (short and long term), ensuring transparency on risks versus rewards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in credit risk management, preferably within business with global footprint.
  • Strong analytical skills, negotiations skills and ability to balance risk and reward.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
