In this role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling procurement activities, including sourcing, control, execution, and supplier management, to ensure the best cost, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure goods and services as required by internal customers, leveraging internal tools and ensuring that we drive spend towards preferred suppliers.
  • Identify, select, and negotiate with new and existing providers and vendors that meet Brown-Forman specifications, according to the corporate sourcing strategy.
  • Track purchases and negotiate delivery times, communicating status to stakeholders as needed.
  • Deliver value in our procurement process for goods/services by focusing on innovation, service, quality, risk mitigation, and overall costs.
  • Adhere to standardized B-F Sourcing Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in Procurement or Purchasing.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to make clear and concise oral and written communications, especially in describing materials and completed packages.
  • Proven track record of successful related work within a changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an administrative capacity, including budget development and control.
  • Demonstrated organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts and with diverse cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently based on logical assumptions and factual information.
