Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Operations Professional to join our team at emagine Consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and technology implementation, with a focus on large-scale enterprise solution architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule deployment steps, coordinate actual deployment, and verify successful deployment for fixes, preventive changes, and minor enhancements.
  • Review requirements and designs for new applications or major upgrades to ensure easy-to-maintain solutions, support technical setup, contribute to go-live rehearsals, and take responsibility for maintaining production environments.
  • Investigate production incidents, collect system logs, coordinate with other support teams as needed, propose solutions, and verify IT service recovery and restoration.
  • Participate in root cause analysis meetings, propose preventive measures, identify ways to improve production stability and efficiency, and contribute to discussions on improving tools, processes, and daily practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of work experience with architecture and technology implementation and large-scale enterprise solution architecture.
  • Understanding of information security requirements and experience with implementing appropriate controls as part of solutions.
  • Experience working with Incident Management/Problem Management following the ITIL framework.
  • Good network infrastructure knowledge focused on Cloud and SaaS solutions.
  • Knowledge of Windows platform, Active Directory, and web services.
  • Understanding of container-based architecture and infrastructure solutions, with Docker and Kubernetes experience considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
