We are Shell Business Operations, and we're seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Specialist proficient in Portuguese to join our LATAM team. As part of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring indirect tax compliance in Brazil, among other jurisdictions.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering timely and accurately indirect tax returns to the Tax Authorities (ICMS, ISS and withholding federal taxes).
Key Performance Indicators:
- Accuracy and timeliness of indirect tax returns
- Quality of indirect tax related accounting activities
- Effectiveness of collaboration with Financial Transaction teams
- VAT reconciliation efficiency
Your Profile:
- Working knowledge of Brazilian VAT or other taxes
- Previous experience in accounting/finance
- University Degree (Economics, Finance, Law – preferred)
- Good knowledge of English and fluent Portuguese
- Microsoft Office skills
