Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and oversee global indirect tax compliance, including VAT/GST, sales and use tax, tax research, business license registration and more.
  2. Coordinate and supervise VAT compliance work due to VAT registrations in different EU countries, including taking part in their preparation.
  3. Analyze information required for preparation of tax returns and prepare the documents by the appropriate deadlines.
  4. Coordinate on the preparation of VAT returns, including review of work results, and projects plans.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all indirect tax returns and related documentation.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors to ensure compliance with local, regional, and international tax regulations.
  7. Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of indirect tax accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within the indirect tax function.
  9. Stay up-to-date with changes in indirect tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
  10. Provide support and guidance to other members of the tax team and other departments on indirect tax matters.
  11. Maintain and update the indirect tax calendar and task matrix to ensure all compliance deadlines are met.
  12. Manage tax exemption certificates and ensure compliance with all indirect tax requirements.
